2018 Vancouver Mom Top 30 Bloggers: 25-30
Thanks to everyone who nominated their favourite Vancouver mom blog for our 9th annual Vancouver Mom Top 30 Blogger 2018 search presented by PDG Pediatric Dental Group. You came through with dozens of nominations, telling us about new and interesting Metro Vancouver mom bloggers to fete at our annual party (and online). We visited the blogs, reviewed them, and narrowed with great difficulty our list down to just 30. We’re showcasing moms who care, create, bake, take killer Instagrams, sell products, write and share it all with us through their blogs and social feeds.
This week we’re presenting the talented 2018 Top 30 Vancouver Mom Bloggers, in no particular order. Today we share our final group of six.

Stephanie Chan of Gang of Five and The Pauhaus
Stephanie Chan is a freelance multi-disciplinary creative. Her services include, but are not limited to, photography, painting, illustration, design, crafting, and kids art teacher. It all comes down to a love of exploring and experiencing as many creative avenues as possible. Stephanie graduated with a BFA from ECUAD in 2007. She lives in a tiny rancher in Sunny Tsawwassen with her husband, Kevin and 3 children, Moses, Chloe and Malcolm. Life is good.
Gretchen Martin of Gretchen Martin.com and Hautebox
Gretchen Martin, mama to 21-month-old Aspen with baby brother on the way, lives downtown Vancouver with her husband Jay. She recently left her 10+ year career to focus on building her family, and her blog gretchenmartin.com. In addition, she recently co-founded and launched Hautebox; a lifestyle and wellness brand dedicated to creating change in how women are supported in motherhood and career development empowering an uprising of ‘Superwomen’. Gretchen focuses her blog on mom-life, fitness/wellness, fashion, travel and clean beauty.
Roxanne Castillo of My Little Daisy
When she’s not working to save lives and cleaning up adult diapers in the hospital, Roxanne Castillo is nursing and changing a baby’s diaper at home. Roxanne Castillo is a first time mom who has traded in her glow sticks for rattles and raps for nursery rhymes. She started documenting her motherhood journey through her blog and social media in place of photo albums and journals. She shares her parenting efforts; showcasing the challenges and joys of being a mother and aims to create a sense of joy and hope to her readers, showing them that they are not alone in being imperfect in this crazy beautiful life called motherhood.
Andrea Aresse of Mom Knows Some Things
Andrea turned to writing as a way to help cope with the new and raw emotions of being a mom. Along with sharing her motherhood imperfections with her readers, she also loves to showcase recipes, DIY projects and adventures with her toddler. While Andrea is a mom who definitely does not know best, she is excited to share the little tips and tricks she has picked up along the way.
Claire Krista of Claire Krista
Claire Roy is a wife, mother of two girls under two and an entrepreneur. She has built her dream business while blogging about creating a beautiful life for her family. Founder of Boutique Diamonds, Claire helps her clients find their dream jewelry pieces. Her goal is to create a blog that allows clients and readers to learn more about the women behind the light and airy brand of Boutique Diamonds. A glimpse inside mom-entrepreneur’s life.

Harriet Fancott is the Editor and Social Media Manager for Vancouver Mom. She has over 20 years experience in the arts, tech and mom-based blogging arenas. She lives in East Vancouver with her husband and son where they enjoy exploring all that Vancouver has to offer from festivals and events to playgrounds and beaches to sushi and ice cream (although not together).
