We connected with Rosemary Erb, Director of Membership, Communications & Administration at Tennis Hub BC about their summer tennis camps for ages 6-12 year-olds.
Tell us a little about Tennis BC Hub
Tennis BC Hub is your community home for public tennis in the Lower Mainland! We are a collective of tennis courts and centres in the Lower Mainland operated by Tennis BC, BC’s official governing body for the sport of tennis.
Our goal is to make tennis accessible and inclusive throughout our community. Through Tennis BC Hub, you may be able to:
- Book an outdoor or indoor tennis court
- Register for tennis programs and camps
- Renew your current league player license
What will kids learn at summer tennis camp?
All our lessons and camps use the “Progressive Tennis” system of modified courts and balls designed for the age and/or skill level of the players. Scale appropriate learning is used by many other sports (e.g., T-Ball, Mini-soccer, etc). Kids learn tennis faster and and more easily through this system.
All camps will include a physical development component heavily focused on developing FUNdamental movement skills through various FUN off court games and activities.
Your child will have fun with our qualified coaches while learning many physical literacy skills that will naturally be transferred to his or her everyday life. Tennis is a life-long sport that your child can continue to play anytime with the new friends they will make at camp.

We are offering summer camps at our Hub locations:

Our Richmond Hub operates year-round ,and we offer many Youth and Adult programs throughout the year.
