What are 2 highlights of your camp, something the kids will talk about after camp is over.

Arts Umbrella is all about building community. When kids attend our Summer Camps, they’ll leave not only with new or refined skills, but knowing a new community of peers who see the world through an artistic lens. Our instructors know how to keep camp fun. While classes are structured and project-based, kids will leave with ideas bouncing around their heads that are ready to escape into the wilds of the world.

What will kids learn at your camp?

Depending on the Summer Camp kids choose to attend, they’ll learn about fine art, Claymation, improv, percussion, photography, and more! Beyond their artistic endeavors, kids will also learn self-discipline, self-confidence, and self-motivation, as well as how to treat their instructors and peers with respect.

Give us one or two quick tip(s) on how to prepare kids for camp?

Days at Arts Umbrella are filled with painting, drawing, dancing, acting, and lots of laughing. Younger artists might prefer to start with a half day. Chat with us about your child’s comfort level before registering for full-day classes. Children aged 3 to 4 must have experience being in a classroom setting without a parent or guardian present prior to enrolment in Arts Umbrella Summer Camps.
