Take a charming twinkly stroll through the expansive light display at VanDusen Garden. There are countless romantic spots for snog or a snap including a lit up globe at the far end of the garden, several sparkly tunnels and even a carousel. Vancouver Christmas Market

Meet your sweetie for a smooch in their twinkling Walk-in Christmas Tree, a wander down Lover’s Lane or seal your love at the Love Lock exhibit. There’s tons of romantic fun throughout the market and even a gorgeous Instagram frame with a view of the North Shore. Go hungry because you’ll want to try everything, right down to old world treats and mulled wine! Snap photos at the carousal, lighted Christmas pyramid then head to the Wunderbar for a cocktail.  Did you know…proposals have been known to take place in this majestic fairyland.

Granville Island

Love Granville Island during the day with the kids? Well, you’ll also love it at night too! Right next to the Seawall, the stunning view is not to be missed. There is food, shopping, and music and lots of twinkling lights. Stop by Granville Island Brewery, then grab a sweet treat from Lee’s Doughnuts and do some people watching while you both connect without the kiddos. The Improv Centre is a fun activity and if you are a dog mama, be sure to stop by the Pet Treatery!
