Great news, Vancouver! The snow has finally arrived in Metro Vancouver, which means it’s time to hit the mountains. All North Shore mountains are open for skiing and snow activities. Grab your gear and head out for some snowy adventures. We’ve got a list of the best places to play in the snow in Vancouver

Save some money by opting for a snowy trek on the trails in Mount Seymour Provincial Park. It’s free and perfect for first-time snow angels. The Dog Mountain Trail has fairly packed snow and a few bumps along the way for a short carpet ride or two. Access through the Mount Seymour Main Trail.

Looking for some snowy fun? Mt Seymour is the place to be! Their Toboggan Park is open to all ages, with no height restrictions. Bring your own toboggan or grab a sliding mat from them. Plus, their Snow Tube Park guarantees fun and laughter with family and friends. Enjoy the thrill of sliding down the hill in their specially designed tubes, then easily ride back up with their custom tube tow.

A winter playground for all ages. Kids can zip down Cypress’ 100-metre tube chutes National Lampoon-style and rest their little legs with a tube-tow back to the top. Great for ages six and up. For those too little to tube, head to the bring-your-own sled area for just $12.
