Lace up! Four fab Vancouver run clubs

Whether you’re new to running or you’re trying to increase your speed or distance (or both!), there is a running group in Vancouver for you. There is nothing more motivating than a group of like-minded people who encourage you every step of the way. Whether you show up solo or with friends, these groups will welcome you with open arms.
Four Vancouver Run Clubs
East Van Run Crew
Mondays at 6:30pm
Their profiles say it all: Just a group of normal people doing normal stuff at a slightly faster pace than other normal people. Everyone welcome. It’s free. Bring friends. Be cool. #nojerksallowed
The Tight Club Run Crew
Tuesdays at 6:30
The Tight Club Run Crew has two options for runners: Long N’ Slow or TC Incubators. Long N’ Slow is for the intermediate runners (you should be able to run 7k). TC Incubators is dubbed “A Run Club For Run Haters.” If you’re new to running or a little intimidated by running clubs, this is the group for you. (Routes are never longer than 5k.)
VRC Flight Crew
Thursdays at 6:15
The VRC Flight Crew runs every Thursday from the Vancouver Running Co. store (1886 W1st Ave) at 6:15pm. The offer two distances: 5–6k & 9–11k. Both distances cater to all speeds and abilities and three ambassadors are positioned at the front, middle and back of the group of each group so you’re never left alone.
Fraser Street Run Club
Fridays at 7 pm
The goal of the Fraser Street Run Club is to get people (of all levels!) together in a social setting and go run. They host a Friday night 5k or 10k social run at 7 pm from the clubhouse (923 E. 10th Ave.).
