So maybe you’ve already got the toys wrapped and under the tree, or you’ve at least shopped until you dropped to get most of them sorted. If you still need one more really special gift for your kids or an adult that will provide fun into the new year, how about tickets to an event, registration in a class, or some unique, hand-crafted art?
Places des Arts is one place that has it all. Pop into this local community hub to get a beautiful, meaningful gift for your kids or a special adult in your life. Here are some great choices to consider from PdA.

Sign them up for a class!
For this grown-up mom who loves the arts, some of my most vivid childhood memories are the arts classes I took at local arts centres like PdA. Your loved will always remember the world-expanding experience of an arts class. Place des Arts has a range of interesting and creative classes for all ages and abilities, so it may be hard to pick just one. You can choose a class you know is perfect for them, or you can pick up a gift certificate that allows them to choose for themselves. Here are just a few of the super fun class options:
-For young children, the Musical Rainbow classes for babies, tots and children are accepting January intakes.
-There are group music classes for older kids and teens (Body Rhythm and Percussion; Intro to Drumset; Pop and Rock Singing; Rock Band–see them all in the program!).
–Winter session visual arts classes for kids, teens and adults, as well as short-term “mini-session” classes for busy adults.
-Or check out their full program for 2016/2017 for the complete list of incredible classes.
Find unique hand-crafted art to give
