Eat and Shop Local at Maan Farms
In 1977 Grandpa and Grandma Maan, with the help of their three children, began producing crops. Before long they started growing delicious strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, which became famous fast. In 1982 the folks behind Maan Farms opened their first roadside stand on their farm in Abbotsford. It soon grew in popularity, thanks to the support and help with from local community.

Maan Farms is a big supporter of organizations devoted to children’s needs, in particular educating children about the outdoors. They decided to follow the ways of initiatives like, ParticipACTION’s ‘Bring Back Play’ campaign, encouraging children and youth to play outside. It is for that reason that they decided to waive the admission fee toward the play area and petting zoo. Let’s get kids back outdoors.
The Winery
Maan Farms Berry Wines are solely produced on-site. The varieties of wines include the best strawberries, raspberries and blueberries to cover any palate. You can sip, sample and find your favorite. Their knowledgeable staff will do the rest to find the perfect pairing of wines to complement your meals. They have a variety of wines to taste in their market. It may be hard to choose just one from their table wines to their dessert fruit wines.
The Market
Pick up fresh local produce to take home with you. Maan Farms offers small quantity and case lots purchases to take home with you, but are subject to seasonal availability. Whether you want a delicious salad, a scrumptious stew or a little tasty summer snack, the market offers a variety of local field vegetables. They also have delicious frozen products available from British Columbia and abroad.
As a long-standing member of the Abbotsford and Fraser Valley Farming Community, Maan Farms understands how important it is to promote and practice environmentally sustainable agricultural techniques. They grow many of their crops 100% pesticide free. They use only the most rigorous and responsible environmental practices.
It has been almost 35 years since Maan Farms opened their first sales stand. There is a way you can continue to support this Fraser Valley treasure by visiting and filling up your shopping bags. They are now open Monday to Sunday from 9:00am to 6:00am. Blueberry and Raspberry U-pick, fresh farm produce and berry stand, corn maze, petting zoo, play area, wagon rides, fruit wine sales, birthday parties, school tours and group tours are all available.
