Gift ideas for your party hostess

Holiday parties and get-togethers are in full swing. No doubt you’ll be on the hunt for a few gifts to show gratitude to your gracious hostess. Here’s a few thoughtful ideas to leave an impression and earn an invite back in the new year.

A breakfast basket

Putting on a Christmas party is a huge undertaking. Give your hostess a boost the next morning by bringing her a basket full of delicious scones and jams from a local bakery. Top it up with some orange juice, coffee and maybe an energy drink or two.

Paul Smith + Caran d’Ache pens

No doubt your hostess will want to thank her guests for her gifts over the holidays. Swing by Paper-Ya on Granville Island for a set of colourful Paul Smith + Caran d’Ache classic style pens and a few funky note cards.

Personalized Pinot

Okay, so everyone brings a bottle of wine to the party. Why not personalize your hostess’ favourite bottle with a label made by you? A funny photo of the two of you might even get the party conversation flowing. Grab some sticker paper for your printer, design your label using an online template or free app, and voilà!
