Don’t miss Grouse Mountain’s Peak of Christmas 2016

Have you been up to Grouse Mountain’s Peak of Christmas yet? It’s a pretty winter wonderland and definitely worth a trip up the mountain to experience. Here’s a rundown of the Peak of Christmas experience. The Peak of Christmas celebration runs from November 25th through January 2nd.
This is one of the best traditions of the Peak of Christmas celebration. Santa’s Breakfast is December 16th in Lupins Café and Altitudes Bistro. Families can savour a delicious breakfast buffet with the big guy, get in on some face painting, and see the magic show. Check out the details here.
A mountain full of magic with just one ticket
Santa’s Workshop: Meet Santa in person to share those holiday wishes. (Weekdays: 12-8pm; weekends & Dec. 17-23: 11am-8pm; Dec. 24: 12-4pm)
Light Walk: Walk amongst the fir and spruce around Blue Grouse Lake where stunning light installations bring radiance to the winter night. From a light tunnel to lanterns, marvel at the beauty as snow crunches under foot. (Dusk-10pm)
Sliding Zone: Get your snow carpet rental and slide! It’s the Sliding Zone, providing designated lanes and groomed terrain perfect for sliding. Snow level and weather permitting. (Weekdays: 12-8pm; weekends: 10am-8pm; Dec. 17-Jan. 2: 10am-10pm)
Mountaintop Sleigh Rides: Embark on a magical ride through our Winter Wonderland. Snow level and weather permitting. (9am to 9pm)
SOS Children’s Gingerbread Village: Stroll through and vote for your favourite sweet creation in support of SOS Children’s Villages. (10am-10pm)
Santa’s Reindeer: Meet Santa’s reindeer in the Reindeer Habitat next to Santa’s Workshop. (9am-10pm)
Reindeer Ranger Talks: Learn all about Santa’s reindeer at the Reindeer Habitat. (12pm, 3pm)
Story Time: Warm your heart with the story of Jack and his best bear friend, Theo. Located in Elf Headquarters. (1pm & 4pm)
Craft Station: Create your own Peak of Christmas memory to bring home. Located in Elf Headquarters. (Weekdays: 11am-7pm; weekends: 10:30am-7pm, except Dec. 24 & 25: 10:30am-4pm)
Send a letter to Santa: Share your holiday wishes with the big guy in a proper letter. Located in the Elf Headquarters. (9:30am-9pm)
Are You Elf-Sized? Find out how you measure up to height of a real Christmas elf! Located in the Elf Headquarters. (9:30am-9pm)
Christmas Favourites: Watch fun family Christmas movies on the big screen in the Theatre in the Sky. (9:30am-9pm)
Skate under the Stars: Enjoy the crisp mountain air as you glide atop our magical 8,000 square foot skating pond. Skates available for rent at the Fireside Hut, next to the Skate Pond. (9am-10pm)
