Over 350 classes (and camps) for all ages

PoMoArts offers over 350 classes (and summer camps) per year in visual arts (think painting, drawing and cartooning), music, ceramics, drama, and more to kids and adults alike! They also have a monthly Kids Only Night so you can go out for dinner while your child creates art (talk about a win-win). Registration for fall classes opens at the end of August. The only question is which class will it be?

>> PS: There’s a Robotics Camp starting on August 9th!

Free public art gallery

PoMoArts is home to Port Moody’s only free public art gallery, showcasing local emerging and established artists. Whimsy in Whimsy in Wood and Paint is on right now (closes August 11) —the kids will love these colourful and enchanting wooden creatures, houses and machines.

Annual exhibition for kids (& young at heart)

Their annual Art 4 Life exhibition, which opens September 23rd is geared towards the young and young at heart. This five-week exhibition aims to cultivate artistic growth in the community by inspiring and engaging children, while raising opportunities for active participation and discussion, as well as lessons on cultural and environmental awareness, and art appreciation. The benefits of an arts education affect every area of life and they want it to be a lifelong journey.
