Give us a brief description of what you are all about.

The Britannia Mine Museum is an award-winning, non-profit organization and iconic National Historic Site where visitors can develop a personal connection to the past, present, and future of BC mining. The Museum provides an immersive experience through its engaging underground tour, interactive gold panning pavilion, and many other topical exhibits.

Board our train and go underground with our passionate team of interpreters to see history brought to life. Explore the Museum’s connection with Howe Sound at our new Foundations and Diving exhibits. Pan for real gold and keep whatever you find!

How should families prepare for their time there?

Families should plan to spend 2+ hours at the Museum and be sure to bring a light jacket for exploring the underground. They can bring a lunch to enjoy in our outdoor picnic area or grab a snack at the Chatterbox Café. Plan ahead by booking your tickets online at www.bcmm.ca/visit.

What do people typically say after a visit?
