Shipyards Skate Plaza *Free*

There’s a new rink in town! Located at the summer water park splash zone, this 12,000 sq foot venue is covered by a retractable roof during inclement weather and opened up when the sun shines. Skating is free and rentals are $7 adult/$5 child (limited quantities).
Pro tip: The rental lineups can be lengthy so it’s advisable to bring (or borrow) your own skates.
Robson Square *Free*
December 1 2019 to February 29 2020 Vancouver
It’s one of Vancouver’s best winter traditions and the perfect way to celebrate the season with your loved ones! Robson Square outdoor skating rink is open from the beginning of December 2019 until the end of February 2020 (winter temperatures permitting). Skate/helmet rentals are cash only, but admission is free!
Grouse Mountain Skating
November 22 2019 to end of March 2020 North Vancouver
Nothing beats skating outdoors on an 8,000 square foot mountaintop skating pond, surrounded by snow-capped trees on the top of Grouse Mountain. This is storybook stuff! Open now until early Spring (be sure to check daily weather conditions).
