Waterslides for the whole family

slide the city

Like a moth to a flame, waterslides are irresistible for kids, and a great way for adults to unleash their inner child. Grab the floaties and head to these swirling, twirling slides around the city.

Slide the City

Make a huge splash with the kids this summer by taking them on a 1,000-foot-long water slip-and-slide. Slide the City will be rolling down Lonsdale Avenue on August 13 and 14. This is a jam-packed party weekend filled with a ton of activities, so pack the sunscreen and head out early. Buy tickets online for ages five and up.

Granville Island Water Park

Nothing beats a free water park. This one has two giant slides and multiple tubes and fountains for hours of family entertainment. For your crawlers and wobblers, the park also offers a designated teeny-tot water section for splashing. Open seven days a week from July until Labour Day in September from 10 am to 6 pm.

Splashdown

It’s impossible to mention waterslides without talking about the most popular water park in Metro Vancouver –  Splashdown of course. Both kids and adults can enjoy the open-air slides, a river-type tube ride, there’s even a small waterpark for the wee ones. Enjoy it while you still can though, the park is closing for good after this summer.

Killarney Community Centre

Not your average community centre waterslide – this one’s enormous! A fun pool with a sloped, beach-style entry for babies to splash around. Perfect for a day of wadding around and taking in the beautiful mountain views.
