What is the mission and philosophy of your summer camp, and how does it align with Vancouver parents’ needs?

Our mission is to teach kids all about the amazing technology that surrounds them and help empower them to be creative producers in that technology. We aim high and challenge kids to learn great new skills, all while having the time of their lives in a well-designed and executed camp experience.

What sets your camp apart from others in the area?

We are a charity organization that has been doing this great work for 20 years! We help kids find healthy balance by focusing on social games and outdoor time just as much as we challenge them with learning new tech skills indoors. We put all of our resources into training and supporting our wonderful instructors so that your child has the opportunity to have the best week of their summer with us. The summer camp curriculum is designed by professional teachers who have backgrounds in Animation, Film and Computer Science and we deliver outstanding results. Kids and parents love our camps! Can you provide an overview of the activities and programs your camp offers during summer camp, and how they contribute to children’s development?

With a maximum 6:1 ratio, we make sure that everyone has all the support they need to push their skills further and achieve amazing results. We have camps that teach everything fun and creative to do with technology: coding, animation, film and music, 3D design and more. Our latest camp offerings include a Foundations in AI course that exposes children to the inner workings of AI and gives them a chance to build and train their own! Kids come back again and again, and we have camps for various age ranges. Our 9-12 year olds camps are fun and exploratory while our 11-14 year old camps go places with kids that their parents could only dream of. We even have a special 2 week intensive overnight experience for students drawn to Engineering or Game Development.

Kids come out of our camps excited about what they have achieved and even more excited about what they plan to achieve next. All the software we use is free/open source so kids will continue to learn and explore on their own long after camps end.
