A Q&A with Sea to Sky Gondola

What you are all about?
The Sea to Sky Gondola is about making it easy to connect to the great outdoors. From young families to the difficult-to-impress teenagers, there is an adventure for everyone here. Especially when it’s only 45 minutes from Vancouver, it’s the perfect spot for some good old-fashioned family bonding in nature.
>> Three super fun things to do at Sea to Sky Gondola this summer

What are three cool things kids (or families) can do there?
- The Via Ferrata is a truly unique experience. Spanish for “iron way” this vertical adventure is an awesome introduction into the world of rock climbing.
- The Helly Hansen Family Adventure is an awesome alpine adventure interactive scavenger hunt and is ideal for children aged 4-12.
- Mountain Music is the perfect chance to kick your feet up and get your groove on. Weekly concerts above Howe Sound take place at the Summit every Friday night from 6-9 pm. All ages welcome.

How should families prepare for their time there?
Dressing in layers is always a good idea. The mountain climate can change very quickly so it’s important to be prepared for all conditions. Many people think the summit will be cold, but on a clear summer day it can be even hotter than at the base! Come prepared with sunscreen, water bottles and hats. And don’t forget your camera! There is a stunning photo opportunity around every corner.
