Vancouver Mom to Follow: Julia of Kokopelli Café
This week’s Vancouver Mom to Follow is Julia, who recently moved here from Russia with her husband and two kids, a 7-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. With a background in economics, she decided to try something new upon arriving in Canada, which is to say taking over the long-time, family friendly Cafe in Dunbar, Kokopelli. Her heart leans towards child-centred and socially valuable activities so she’s thrilled to be revamping this kid-oriented coffeehouse where local families get together to spend quality time.
Places Julia Loves to go
This place is great for dinner with friends. The serve great authentic Italian food, very good selection of vines offered to you by a very friendly stuff. Last time we were there with friends to celebrate our older one’s birthday, it was great.

Great place for beer with your hubby)! Belgium food and beer….mmm a perfect combination for Friday dinner-date.

Pajo’s Fish & Chips (the Wharf)
Cool place to go with kids as you take walk at Steveston when it is warm outside. You can order to-go and then eat right at the deck, enjoying the sun and watching the boats.
