Amanda lives in Ladner with her fun, curious and active 1 year old, Mikayla, her loving husband Chris and their cuddly English Bulldog Zoey. When she’s not working at the radio station, she can be found exploring trails by the river or in the woods with her family. Amanda loves writing, taking photos, going to concerts, and hosting family and friends at home.

We love coming here for lunch with Mikayla! The service is great, the beers are delicious and the cocktails too. My fave is the fresh juiced apples with jamesons. They’ve got a great patio, it’s a beautiful space and some yummy food for both mom and baby.

Lisa Lou’s Chocolate Bar
Both Chris and I love ice cream. We’ll change it up with an ice cream sandwich and our favourite ones come from Lisa Lou’s. They have unique combos, but my go to’s are any with peanut butter or coconut.

Ladner Farmers Market
This place is a gold mine for locally made gifts, products and home decor. It’s also the best place for local produce! Many of Ladner’s local farmers come out and sell their produce and fresh cut flowers. Plus there’s food trucks and live music.
