Skiing and riding
Bring the family skiing or snowboarding this break. They’ll love the warmer weather (no more frozen toes) and really, you can’t beat the views. Besides, is there anything better than spring skiing? Make sure you pick up a Y2Play pass first.
Skating
There’s a gorgeous, smooth outdoor ice skating rink high above the city on Grouse Mountain. So grab your skates and go for a glide on their 8,000 square foot ice skating pond – the only one of its kind on the West Coast. It was recently voted one of the top skating rinks in the world!
Sliding Zone
Fact: Kids love tobogganing. They can get their thrills at the Sliding Zone on Grouse Mountain with a day of sliding. Add the uphill climb, and you’re pretty much guaranteed exhausted kids by the end of it. #missionaccomplished
Snowshoeing
Prefer not hit the slopes but would like to get out into the snow and do some walking or hiking? Then rent or borrow some snowshoes and head along some picturesque mountain trails. Babies can be carried just as you would on a hike, and the kids can put on some smaller snowshoes and enjoy a snowy adventure. Cap it off with a hot chocolate at the lodge.
Dining
Post-play poutine anyone? That’s just one of the yummy items available at Lupins self-serve restaurant. Head indoors to warm up and relax after an active time skiing, sliding or skating or snowshoeing. Get your hot choc and panini at Lupins – enjoy the lodge and take in the spectacular views.
