Vancouver Mom to Follow: Bethany Fontaine

This week’s Metro Vancouver Mom to Follow is Bethany Fontaine, a wife, young mother of a outgoing 2-year- old with another one on the way due in December. She uses social media and her YouTube channel to create a sense of community for mothers and the realities that come with having children. Bethany started doing YouTube channel when she was pregnant with her daughter to share her experience with others and help other mama’s along with their motherhood journey. Bethany has always been a true nature lover and and living in the Fraser valley has definitely has its perks when it comes to outdoor activities. Abbotsford is her most recent place of residence as Bethany has lived all across Western Canada during her 24 years of life. She’s finds her inspiration from nature, simple joys and spending time together as a family.

Cascade Falls, Mission

This water fall is absolutely stunning and with a short walk to the falls it’s a great family friendly activity. With an amazing suspension bridge and the stunning falls it’s a great outdoor attraction for all to enjoy! This is our go to place to take visitors!

Bateman Park, Abbotsford

This local park is for the whole family, pups definitely included! As a family we love the easy walking trail along a easy flowing creek and our dog Aspen loves to play in the park as she meets new friends.

High Street Shopping Centre

Who isn’t down for a great shopping spot? This outdoor shopping centre is great for Mama’s grabbing some new outfits and a playground for kids of all ages. My daughter loves the slide and would stay there all day if she could!

Cafe Amarti

Want a cup of great cup of coffee or try my favourite, a Lavender Fog! This local coffee shop is definitely a cosy place to take a friend for a good chat or just to get some studying done. Overall a great local place with awesome coffee! They even bring out apple slices for the kids!
