Vancouver Mom to Follow: Louise Chapman of Talk Nerdy to Me
This week’s Mom to Follow is Louise Chapman, a lifestyle blogger from Surrey who is a mom to three kids (with many more through fostering) and a substitute science teacher. With a great love for the outdoors, Louise and her husband Gary enjoy exploring; whether it’s stand up paddle boarding at a local beach or an overnight backpacking trip, the kids are along for the ride. Throw in a love for travel and their adventures have taken them to South East Asia, road tripping around BC, and cruising the Caribbean.

Three places Louise loves
Campbell Valley Park
Looking for picturesque trails with ample birds and squirrels? This is the place for you. This park is gorgeous in every seasons and all types of weather. The north entrance is best for trail walking and the south side for family photos.
Langley Hockey House
If you are looking to play roller or ball hockey, they have teams for multiple ages and abilities. It’s not just for the kids–there are options for men and women as well.
Lelem Arts and Cultural Cafe
Located in Fort Langley, this is the perfect place to have smoked salmon benny with your kids or a specialty coffee with your book club. Great location for a walk afterwards, too!
