Let Them Eat … Cupcakes!

Guest post by Michelle Libby.

Wondering what to give or where to take the kids for Valentine’s Day? How about taking them back to the 1950’s where the treats are sweet and the service is with a smile? If you think there is no such place – well then you clearly have never been to Cupcakes.

Cupcakes by Heather and Lori was founded by best friends Lori and Heather. It’s only eight years young but already it has grown into a cupcake company that boasts of one of a kind indulgences and an amazing experience. There are currently a handful of stores around Vancouver and its surroundings and it looks like more will be sprouting up shortly.

From the time you step into the quaint little stores, you’ll feel a bit of nostalgia. The trademark colours of perfect icing pink, soft vanilla, and rich chocolate brown set the stage for a great experience. Between the aromas and the little bistro seating, you’re sure to enjoy your time at Cupcakes. Even if you have a choosy little eater – there is a treat waiting just for them!

Here is just a sample of some of the cupcakes: red velvet, mochamotion, koo koo, butter cup, sweet 16 and the list goes on and on. You also have other choices to make including the size, minis, cupcakes and the big ones.

The minis are the perfect size for your toddlers and the regular cupcakes are perfect for the bigger kids. Of course, the big one can be for you – go ahead you deserve it.
