Flashdance Giveaway: Follow Your Dreams
What a feeling! Pull on your legwarmers and get ready to have it all, because Flashdance is coming to town and we have two tickets to give away.
Flashdance – The Musical, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will perform at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre here in Vancouver from November 11-16, 2014. With electrifying dance at its core, the play tells the inspiring and unforgettable story of Alex Owens, a Pittsburgh steel mill welder by day and a bar dancer by night. Over the course of the play, Alex learns the meaning of love and its power to fuel the pursuit of her dream of becoming a professional performer. The original Paramount Pictures film was a worldwide smash hit that became a pop culture phenomenon, and its hit songs became Top Ten hits on the radio around the world. Vancouver Moms are Following their Dreams
Flashdance follows a young woman who follows her dreams at all costs. We’re excited to have tickets for opening night on November 11 to give away. In order to enter this giveaway, we’re asking you to tell us how you’re following your dreams – or encouraging your kids to follow theirs. We’ll gather some of your responses into an article to run after the giveaway was over, because we can all use a little inspiration to follow our own dreams.

- The winner for this Flashdance giveaway will be selected based on how they’re following their dreams, or encouraging their kids to follow theirs.
