Five spots Caitlin loves to go!
Indian Roti Kitchen
Hands down our favourite family joint for mouth-watering indian roti. I think it might have even been one of our eldest son’s first foods, and got us through that tough first year as new parents. Cheap and delicious.
2961 Cambie Street, Vancouver, 604-876-3767
Lemonade Bakery
I’m a gluten-lover myself but this gluten-free bakery will blow your mind. I’m drooling just thinking about their Triple Chocolate Mousse. It’s the stuff that dreams are made of.
3385 Cambie Street, Vancouver, 604-873-9993
Ask for Luigi
When I imagine the perfect date night dinner spot, I picture this place. It’s like eating in your Italian grandma’s cozy kitchen. Short menu, super fresh pasta, great wine.
305 Alexander St, Vancouver 604-428-2544
Pacific Spirit Park
Our go-to spot for weekend family adventures when the kids start bouncing off the walls. Our chocolate lab was a big fan too. So easy: Pack a snack and thermos of hot chocolate and walk the beautiful trails till your heart’s content.
Captain’s Quarters
A magical little getaway cabin on Galiano Island. My hubby and I stayed here for our wedding. Not luxurious but it makes up for it in charm. Set on an organic farm where you can taste test the goods. Oh, and a private hot tub.
Galiano Island, 1-866-539-3625
