Get ready, Vancouver families — the 48th Annual Vancouver International Children’s Festival is back on Granville Island from May 26 to June 1, and it’s going to be a full week of WOW! I Wish I Was A Mountain (ages 7+)

Written and performed by Poetry Slam Champion Toby Thompson, this poetic and philosophical tale reimagines Hermann Hesse’s classic story with rhyme, rhythm, and jazz. A soulful, thought-provoking show for older kids ready to explore life’s bigger questions.

Won’Ma Africa (All ages)

Hold your breath and prepare to be amazed! Kalabanté Productions brings thrilling acrobatics, high-flying stunts, and electrifying drumming straight from Guinea. A must-see for fans of action-packed, heart-racing performances!

Play All Day at Activity Village

Art Village at the Vancouver International Children's Festival coming up this May 26-June, 2025
