Kokopelli Cafe: Kid Friendly Coffee in Vancouver’s Dunbar Neighbourhood
Guest post by Sarah Bonar
Your favourite coffee in hand, fresh baked treats tempting your senses, and your children socializing and playing with others … no you are not dreaming, you are at Kokopelli Café.
Nannies, parents and even grandparents are familiar with the cozy Kokopelli Café on Dunbar Street, as it provides its patrons a full-service coffee bar, fresh baked goodies, light lunches and an open design concept where people can sit, relax and keep an eye on their children while they play.
At Kokopelli, they begin baking at five in the morning, so when they open at seven the fresh baked items are ready to be devoured with enthusiasm. Another service Kokopelli provides is an assortment of homemade take-home dinners for families on the go plus larger baked items such as loaves of banana bread, perfect for lunch snacks during the week.
If you have not yet visited Kokopelli, put it on your list of things to do. By providing a place for little ones to play, Kokopelli demonstrates to the community the value they place on families.
