Many Different Wardrobes, Nothing to Wear

Have you ever looked in your closet to find lots of clothes, but nothing to wear? A lot of moms know that feeling. After having kids, a lot of us are left with multiple wardrobes that really don’t go together. There’s the pre-pregnancy wardrobe, the maternity wardrobe, the somewhere-in-between maternity and normal clothes wardrobe, the work wardrobe, the mom wardrobe and maybe even a few old pieces from your days hitting the clubs. It adds up to a lot of clothes, but somehow none of it fits.

Tracey Rossignol was at just this place when she started her blog, Fashion Forward 40. She looked in her closet and found five different wardrobes, and none of them really fit. She decided it was time to re-frame her approach to fashion from a more grown-up perspective. She’s re-discovering, and re-defining, her personal style, this time as a 40-something mom instead of a 20-something single woman.

She talks about all of these things and more during our conversation. If you want an honest and fun take on fashion after 40, Tracey’s your Vancouver mom.
