7 adorable local baby brands

Babies, babies babies! We can’t get enough of all the cuteness they exude! And who can resist a naked baby? But they’re just as cute when they’re rocking apparel from local brands! Here are our picks for top 7 baby apparel designers. (PS: Click on photos to see their Instagram feeds.)

Local baby brands you’ll love

Tiny Button Apparel

Jamie is the creative mom behind Tiny Button Apparel. She was looking for something comfortable, sustainable and gender neutral with a tiny splash of colour. She couldn’t find it so she designed it! Many of these simple and cute designs can be passed down for years. They have a great gender neutral collection with custom colours unique to them.

Bambi & Birdie

Based in Vancouver, Bambi and Birdie are a printed bamboo pyjamas company. They have since expanded to dresses, rompers and loungewear. Their onesies have a tie bottom which are perfect for newborns (not to mention cute as can be!). They also do super matching ‘mommy and me’ sets!

London Fields

London Fields is local shop that carries one-of-a-kind kids items. Their shop is full of cute things in addition to clothing. They also host pop ups! LA’s Devon’s Drawer and Vancouver’s Aster and Clove will be there in March.

The Sweet Life Apparel

The Sweet Life Apparel is a fun and sassy local brand that makes tees, sweatshirts and bottoms for kids and adults! The best part about getting your kid in a cute cake onesie is that you can rock one too.

TATTRD Threads

Sasha, the owner and designer, first created distressed jeans for her son and that’s how TATTRD Threads came about! She hand distresses all of the items in her shop. She also has some cute graphic tees – does ‘mamarazzi’ sound familiar? She created that!

Haven Kids Clothing

Haven Kids is a local favourite for moms and littles. Their Freedom Collection for Spring ‘19, full of whimsy and earthy tones, doesn’t disappoint. Brothers and sisters can coordinate without much effort and so can mom! They stock sizes from baby to XXL in women’s.

Darling and Bandit

Trisha, born and raised in BC, is the designer behind the brand. She started with graphic tees which has now evolved to a modern and monochromatic style. Their ever popular teepee leggings always get sold out after a restock! The brand constantly strives to provide high quality products at an affordable price.
