Okay, we admit it – June hasn’t exactly been all that we could hope this year. All the same, the days are getting longer, the school year is winding to a close, and summer is on its way. We decided to turn to the best experts on the city we know, our fellow Vancouver moms, to get the scoop on what to do in Vancouver this summer. What says summer in the city to you? Crosstown Parents Network shared, “A visit to CRAB park at Portside! Such a wonderful spot..so much to see and do for both kids and parents!”

Lullaby League likes to get active, saying, “Just getting on our bikes, hitting the seawall and going, going, going!”

The folks at Ayoudo like to get their party on: “Definitely partial to summer music festivals like TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Vancouver Folk Music Festival, and a bit further afield: Live At Squamish ♥ Oh, and Bard on the Beach!”

2012 Top Vancouver Mom Blogger Tairalyn Ciulla shared her ideas for what to do in Vancouver this summer, “Walking the Olympic Village…. Granville Island…. Any restaurant patio, and of course La Casa Gelato!!!”

Janelle Bakker-Chan likes to explore Vancouver’s parks. She shared her picks, “New Brighton Outdoor Pool- great gradual entry for little ones, small slide and big slide, inexpensive. Rhona Young also loves some time at the beach, saying, “Third Beach everytime! Followed by a quick dip in Second Beach Pool on the way home.”
