Give us a brief description of your Summer Camps.
Science World’s Summer Science Camps are led by top-notch, professional staff and incorporate our interactive galleries, hands-on experiments and dynamic demonstrations. Science Campers will explore topics that go beyond school curriculum with programming designed to stimulate interest, encourage curiosity and build a child’s confidence in science. We offer camps for kindergarten to middle school students that are carefully designed to target the age-specific needs and abilities of its participants.
What makes your summer camps unique?
Science World’s Summer Science Camp not only has unique hands-on experiments, it also build skills such as creative thinking, teamwork, and problem solving.
What are some of the highlights of your camp this summer?
During our Summer Science Camps, campers get to design and build a contraption. They also get to experience science in a fun and creative way.
What will kids learn at your camp?
This summer we are building up our maker skills with tinkering and inventing-themed camps, inspired by our featured summer exhibition, Made In Canada, presented by YVR. Creative thinking, teamwork, and problem solving will be some of the skills developed.
Give us a few quick tips on how to prepare kids for summer camps?
• Make sure your kids have had a healthy start to the day.
• The camps are full of activities that would require lots of energy.
