Lara shared some of her tips and tricks for moms starting out as entrepreneurs:

• If you’re starting a new business, really get into the nitty gritty of planning.
• Commit for at least 3 years. Don’t quit halfway through.
• Be sure to put something advertising and promotion. Take at least a portion and invest them into some kind of advertising if you want to see results. (Incidentally, VancouverMom.ca has some great advertising opportunities for small businesses.)
