Carrie Dodd, a mother of one son who is now expecting another child, sells children’s products through Kid Smart Shop and blogs at http://awonderfulwife.blogspot.com.
Favourite Thing For Your Kids
Fisher Price Rainforest booster chair. I’ve been using it since my son was about 7 months old and love that it’ll grow with him. It’s light, it’s portable, it folds and it comes with a toy to keep him busy.
Favorite thing for me
Sleeeep! Or if it has to be a thing, my computer, a Dell, allows me to blog and read message boards – stuff I find kind of relaxing while my son naps.
Favourite Thing For Work
Starbucks Cafe Mocha – it’s a great pick-me-up for those days I’m dragging myself.
Favourite Place in Vancouver
Stanley Park. There’s so much to do there with or without kids.
Favourite Birthday Gift Idea
Something that can be used and not turn into clutter, such as restaurant gift cards, food items or movie gift cards.
Favourite Kids Book
Well, my son is still young and doesn’t have a favorite yet when it comes to books, but I have fond memories as a child of the Dr. Seuss series, and my mother-in-law was able to dig up all of hubby’s Dr. Seuss from when he was a child for our son.
Favorite restaurant
My husband I haven’t had a chance to check out a ton of restaurants in our life together so right now I’ll have to go with Red Robin. That’s because they’re close, baby friendly and my son is very amused by the train that goes around and around, giving us a chance to enjoy a meal.
