Get in the Spirit at Long Table Distillery

Here in Vancouver we love all things local and small. From craft beer to food trucks to fashion, we know that bigger isn’t always better. It’s no surprise, then, that our city boasts a micro distillery, Long Table Distillery. The distillery brings together organic and natural ingredients, proprietary West Coast inspired recipes, and plenty of traditional distilling experience. The result is a critically acclaimed selection of handcrafted gins, vodkas and seasonal spirits.

New Tasting Room and Cocktail Laboratory

Tomorrow Long Table Distillery is officially opening their newly designed tasting room and cocktail laboratory. The space will serve hand-crafted cocktails from 1:00-7:00pm on Thursdays and Saturdays. But don’t worry if those hours don’t work for you – they’re sure to evolve over time. If you do drop by when the tasting room and cocktail laboratory you’ll find chemist and bar manager, Cole Benoit on hand. Benoit is the owner of Vancouver’s Apothecary Bitters, and he will create cocktails featuring Long Table Distillery’s small batch spirits, fresh locally sourced ingredients, botanicals, hand-made syrups and handcrafted bitters.

In addition to being a mixologist and spirits geek, Benoit is also an avid brewer and beer connoisseur. Plus he’s an industry experienced cook and all around culinary nerd. He grew up with a horticulturist father, giving him an in-depth of knowledge of botany. When you combine that knowledge with his lifelong interest in cooking, his experience with brewing sciences, his creative nature and his technical background, you have a recipe for great bitters at The Apothecary Bitters Company.
