In fact, L’Alliance Française de Vancouver offers 86 different types of French language courses, 15 formal certifications, on-line or in-person group classes for kids, teens and adults.
When you take a language course at L’Alliance Française de Vancouver, you’ll learn from experienced teachers with internationally recognized FSL (French as a Second Language) credentials. The team is committed to pursuing excellence and innovation in teaching and delivering proven results. As a student, you’ll have free access to the media library, hosting a large collection of reference and support materials.

L’Alliance Française de Vancouver isn’t just about language, it’s about experiencing art in various shapes and forms and interacting with projects from various cultures. In 2019, in collaboration with its local and international partners, L’Alliance organized 73 events across gastronomy, cinema, writing, theatre, music, book clubs, dance, art exhibitions and children shows. 3,650 guests attended those events, offered in both English and French. Events are also mostly free or accessible at low ticket prices.
