Celebrate Paddy’s Day at CelticFest Vancouver’s Family Day!

Get into your green and celebrate Paddy’s Day with the whole family! CelticFest Vancouver, Western Canada’s largest annual Celtic festival is back! Whether you’re from Ireland, have Irish heritage or are just Irish for the day, join CelticFest Vancouver in East Vancouver on Saturday, March 15th, for a free, festive, family-friendly St Patrick’s Days celebration!

Experience the delights of Irish culture with live performances, art, music, dance and activities. Kids will love interactive storytelling sessions, tin whistle workshops, face painting, the photo booth, games and bouncy castle. Don’t miss the special Secret Society of Books Truck, packed with stories to inspire young imaginations! Young dancers from the O’Brien School of Irish Dance and tin whistle players from the Vancouver School of Irish Music will entertain crowds and get everyone on their feet.

Celtic and folk traditional music from The O’Neills and a performance from award-winning fiddle player, dancer and singer Jocelyn Pettit will have kids and their grownups dancing. Glee-style youth choir the Showstoppers are back at CelticFest Vancouver for the second year in a row and Éamonn McHale will offer an all-ages, lively, acoustic blend of Irish traditional folk, country, and rock and roll.

With delicious eats from local food trucks, coffee, plus a bar for parents, the full day event offers a vibrant, community atmosphere, with no shortage of entertainment and activities.
