Giveaway: Theatre Under the Stars Scholarship

At VancouverMom.ca we’re big fans of Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS). If you missed it, you should definitely check out our preview of the 2012 season, complete with a podcast with Vancouver mom and TUTS director Sarah Rodgers. If you’re wondering what to do in VancouverMom.ca, seeing a TUTS show is a great option. But TUTS is more than just fabulous theatre – they also have some great summer camps, and we’re thrilled to be part of a great giveaway.

Giveaway: Theatre Under the Stars

Shows like Glee and Smash have fueled the soaring popularity of musical theatre. This means lengthy waiting lists for acting workshops and summer camps in Vancouver. But one lucky Vancouver mom can beat the lineup! TUTS is offering a one week scholarship to their Summer Musical Theatre Camps. The program offers both beginner and advanced level camps open to children and youth between the ages of eight and eighteen years. All camps run at the Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park and include a camp T-shirt, a live performance on the TUTS stage and three tickets to a TUTS show. The camp provides the unique opportunity to learn from real Broadway stars in a supportive environment and a final performance outside on a historic stage.
