Changing Chinatown Cafes

With our office based in Chinatown, we’ve become all too familiar with the restaurant options around this neighbourhood. Having frequented these places on multiple occasions- coffee breaks, meetings, lunch breaks -rest assured that each of the places mentioned on our list contain some of the tastiest menu items in this neck of the woods. And by woods we mean city.

Matchstick Coffee Roasters – 213 E Georgia Street & 639 E 15 Ave (Fraser & Kingsway), Vancouver

Almond croissant and a London Fog, always. If not, they’ve got delicious hand-crafted coffees, other baked treats like scones and cookies, as well as fresh salads for lunch.

Musette Caffe – 75 E Pender Street & 1262 Burrard Street, Vancouver

The bike friendly coffee shop (though no bike is needed!) with locations in Chinatown and Burrard.

Finch’s Market Cafe – 501 East Georgia Street, Vancouver

A quiet spot in a residential area with the most delicious sandwich pairings you’ll ever eat. You can also pick up some fresh, local produce and stock up on pantry staples. (*The featured image shows the pear and prosciutto sandwich.)

Caffe Brixton – 212 E Georgia Street, Vancouver

The sandwiches here are toasted to perfection. We highly recommend the curried chicken or the spicy capicolli.

Part restaurant, part grocery store, and part community-supported agriculture resource! Choose between delicious udon or ramen noodles to warm up with on those cold, Vancouver days. Read our review here.

This tiny, charming establishment serves delicious, Italian meals in Chinatown. Be sure to check their Instagram account to keep up with their menu which changes daily!
