Harmony Arts Festival is being modified for 2021

We are excited to share the news that this summer—modified for 2021—the Harmony Arts Festival, presented by Odlum Brown Limited, will return to the West Vancouver waterfront from July 30 to August 8. The District of West Vancouver is following COVID-19 protocols as set by the Provincial Health Officer.

Although Harmony will look different this year, the spirit, lifestyle, and natural beauty that makes West Vancouver so special will shine through. This uniquely West Vancouver festival has grown over the past 30 years to include visual, culinary, and performing arts.

History

We acknowledge that the Harmony Arts Festival is on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation, and Musqueam Nation. We recognize and respect them as nations in this territory, as well as their historic connection to the lands and waters around us since time immemorial.

Harmony Arts Festival, presented by Odlum Brown Limited, began 30 years ago with a simple dream: to give the North Shore a festival worthy of its unparalleled setting.

The desire to create a community-oriented celebration of the visual arts, has grown to include culinary, performing arts and literary arts. With Harmony, we share the very best that West Vancouver has to offer: creative arts and community, all set against a view that can’t be beat.

We’ve seen the profound impact that a diverse and sophisticated festival like Harmony Arts can have on our community and its citizens. In previous years, Harmony Arts is where longtime locals mingle with new neighbours, art enthusiasts meet enthusiastic novices, and generations come together on the waterfront.

Along the way, we’ve built a community festival that extends beyond the North Shore. The festival has attracted more than 140,000 annual visitors from the Sea to Sky and across Metro Vancouver.

LOCATION

The festival is located along West Vancouver’s waterfront between 14th Street and 16th Street on Argyle Avenue. No matter where you’re coming from or how you’re getting to the festival—it’s easy to find us! West Vancouver is just 10 kilometres from downtown Vancouver.
