Summer in Whistler means a smorgasbord of all-ages activities and outdoor entertainment. Let your youthful imaginations run wild with crafts, workshops and magic performances at Whistler Children’s Festival, July 7-9. Or, celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday in Whistler, July 1-2, with free outdoor concerts from the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, and extra special celebrations.
To take part in the Canada Day themed scavenger hunt, grab the family and get ready to explore Whistler. Try to find at least 20 of the items listed on the scavenger hunt, take photos and remember to share them on social media, tagging @GoWhistler and using the hashtags #OnlyInWhistler and #Canada150. Take your scavenger hunt form, and proof of your shared images, to the Whistler Visitor Centre (there’s only one) for your Canada 150-themed prize.
