She also volunteers once a month at Beauty Nigh – an award winning, volunteer-run charity that helps women and youth living in poverty.

She lives in Vancouver with her husband and two sons where she divides her time between research, writing, speaking engagements and her most important accomplishment to date – being a mom.

For our last dad entrepreneur to watch, we’re featuring Rob Wahl. Rob is the co-founder, co-owner and director of business management at Symbols Multisensory Learning Centers Inc., a company that offers individualized tutoring for students who are struggling in school. While Rob takes care of the business side of Symbols, his wife, Kimberley, manages the education side.

Trevor Mason is the owner and creative mastermind of Shiny Kids Entertainment. He has a lot of projects on the go, including Vancouver Birthday Fun, Gogo Bonkers, and The Jethro Sirius Experiment. He’s started doing kids’ birthday parties this year but has been involved in children’s entertainment since 2001.

Since Father’s Day is in June, we thought we’d mix things up a bit and highlight some fabulous guys this month. Up first is Jason Powell, the president and founder of Coco & Tini, an all-natural hair and bath care line for babies and kids.
