Established in 2011, Pear Tree Education offers a range of exciting and inspirational programs to students aged 5-6, 7-9, and 10-14.
In addition to our Pro-D, ESL, Spring, and Summer Camps, we also offer SSAT preparation and Mini School preparation!
In 2016, Pear Tree launched it’s own private school (Pear Tree School), which operates separately from Pear Tree Education.
All of Pear Tree Education’s camps and courses are open to any student aged 5-6, 7-9, and 10-14.

Like many families, you’re looking for the perfect blend of education and social interactions for your child.
We have become one of Vancouver’s most popular education camp companies (Pro-D, spring and summer camps), both because of the quality and diversity of our courses.
Our wide range of course types will engage your children in new and challenging activities, including cooking, sports, music and dance, drama/public speaking, technology, art/crafts, and academics.
All of our summer camps are designed by Pear Tree’s founders and directors, Alexis Birner (M.Ed.) and Paul Romani (M.Ed.), and are led by school teachers to ensure that summer camps offer exceptional levels of safety, enjoyment and education!
With any Pear Tree summer course, your child will spend as much time as possible outside, experiencing education hands-on in the open air.

Summer Camps
We have summer camps for 5-6 and 7-9 year olds in Burnaby, East Van (nr. Olympic Village), Vancouver (Kitsilano), North Van, Steveston, and White Rock.
For 10-14 year olds, we have summer camps in Burnaby, Vancouver (Kitsilano), North Van, and Steveston.
You can register from as few as 1 week up to the entire summer!
By booking 4 weeks or more of our summer camps, you could save up to 20% off our regular price. We’re confident you won’t find a better value-for-money summer camp!
On the week with a statutory holiday, the price will be adjusted for a 4-day week. This applies to our Hot Lunch program, too.

Times
Camps are from 9am – 3pm, with options to extend these times (8am – 5pm) using our optional pre-camp and/or after-camp supervision services.
Healthy Hot Lunch Program (Kitsilano only)
At our Kitsilano location, we also offer an amazing healthy hot lunch program for an additional $80. This is prepared from fresh by our in-house chef (Red Seal Level 3).
