Dana Kaneko’s Favourite Things
Dana Kaneko is mom to 19-month old Koji, works as a licenced practical nurse, and in her “spare” time she puts her creative talents to work on Koji Kids, a home-based business specializing in custom made onsies and shirts with logos and removable capes, superhero sock monkeys and toy leaches. Dana is also a contributing writer for www.spiltmilkmoms.com.
Favorite Thing for Your Kids
The Fisher-Price Healthy Care Booster Seat is very handy — portable, lightweight and easy to use. Whether at a friend’s house, a restaurant or a park the booster makes meal time easy.
Favourite Thing For You
During the winter months, I can not live without my heating pad from Escents. I simply put it in the microwave for a few minutes and it holds heat for ages. It keeps me warm and toasty and at the same time reduces our hydro bill.
Favourite Thing For Work
It would have to be my Phaff sewing machine. I love it because it is a reliable workhorse and it allows me to create my crafts.
Favourite Place in Vancouver
I have lots of fun taking my son to the Vancouver Aquarium. A great place to visit any time of year, the aquarium offers interest and excitement to kids of all ages.
Favourite Birthday Gift Idea
For kids it would have to be I See Me Books. For adults I enjoy giving custom hand stamped sterling silver necklaces from a local Vancouver company, 2unique.
Favourite Kids Book
Pig Pig Grows Up by David McPhail is my favourite kids book. I have fond memories of my mom reading it to me as a kid.
Favourite Restaurant
I absolutely love the food at Joeys on Broadway. I think the lettuce wraps are the best in the city.

Koji Kids has made some really awesome things. I ordered super hero shirts for my sons 4th birthday(Instead of goody bags full of China stuff(crap) that you end up throwing away). The kids all loved them they all wore them for the whole birthday. I live in a small town in the kootenays and I see the kids up town wearing them and its great you make a high quality product hat lasts. thanks.
