The Steveston Salmon Festival is returning on Saturday, July 1 – marking the 76th year of this popular Canada Day celebration! Spanning from Britannia Shipyards to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, festival-goers are invited to enjoy the day-long program with an array of activities for all ages (highlights below!). 

2023 Festival Highlights include:

• Kids’ Bike Parade: a fun opportunity for children to cycle the big parade route to the cheers and encouragement of the waiting crowds before the floats take off. Starting at 9:30 a.m

  Canada Day Parade (back for the first time since 2019!) which starts at 10 a.m

• Sammy’s Fun Zone: featuring family-friendly performances and hands-on activities in Steveston Park.

• Bouncy Town: inflatable fun and carnival games. Pre-sale wristbands will be on sale starting Monday, June 26 for $10 each, or $25 for a Family Pack (3 wristbands) at the Steveston Community Centre

• Fireworks: concluding the night at Imperial Landing at 10:15 p.m
