COVID-19 has highlighted more than ever the importance of health care in our community. This year, in light of the pandemic, Lights of Hope will continue to celebrate the life-saving work being done across Providence Health Care with a few exciting changes.
Taking a page from Dr. Bonnie Henry, we’ve reimagined Lights of Hope this year as Hope at Home – and we hope you’ll join us in our time-honoured holiday traditions, adjusted so we can celebrate together, while apart.
Hope at Home includes an online livestream of the display lighting ceremony and virtual community celebration to kick off the season; a 24/7 stream of the Lights of Hope display you can visit from the comfort of home throughout the holidays; and limited edition Hope at Home stars available for purchase to show your support for Lights of Hope from home.
As always, your gifts to Lights of Hope 2020 will support greatest needs across all Providence Health Care hospitals and long-term care homes, funding urgently needed equipment, life-saving research, community programs, and other essential patient and resident services, allowing our health care teams to deliver the best care possible and be prepared for any challenges ahead.
You can give online, over the phone, or donate via our Living Light installation at the front of St. Paul’s Hospital starting November 19.
