Sept 8, 2020 – The Vancouver Aquarium has paused public programming to focus on transformation

Did you know that a sloth only goes to the bathroom once a week? Or that a penguin has fleshy hooks on its tongue? These are just some of the 50,000 creatures at the Vancouver Aquarium, where weird is normal. Come and enjoy special family programs and shows including ‘Meet a Penguin’ or ‘Shark: A 4-D Experience®’. Or maybe you’d prefer to get up close and personal with your favourite animal during an animal encounter? All of this and more at the Vancouver Aquarium this Spring Break.

Travel from the Arctic to the Amazon without ever leaving Vancouver as you explore the Aquarium’s diverse galleries. With more than 50,000 curious creatures, there’s so much to see, do and discover.
