RiverFest 2019 – Music, Art and More!

RiverFest 2019 returns for its 17th year! Presented by the Port of Vancouver, RiverFest 2019 returns for its 17th year! Presented by the Port of Vancouver, RiverFest is a week long FREE family-friendly festival, and a great way to enjoy fall along the mighty Fraser River.  This year, we will continue to build on past festivals to ensure informative and enjoyable family entertainment, including vendors whose products embody the Fraser, a diverse assortment of exhibitors, children’s activities, and live music. The schedule for this year’s event includes:

Wednesday, September 18th (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) – a special RiverFest edition of FRDC’s curriculum-based RiverSchool! Three lucky elementary schools have been chosen to take part again this year.

Thursday September 19th (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) – New Westminster Arts Council’s Pop-up Art exhibition, with this year’s theme being “The Working River and its Natural Environment.”

Friday, September 20th (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) – *click* photos of the fraser exhibit unveiling. This year’s theme is “Life on the Fraser.”

Saturday, September 21st (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) – RiverFest 2019 concludes with a full day of fun for the whole family, including the Family Fun Zone inside the FRDC (sponsored by Bosa), live music featuring Juno award winning artists Bobs and Lolo, Artisans on the River (with New West Craft) and the Lucille Johnstone Workboat Parade (sponsored by Ledcor)
