This weekend, the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation will be hosting family-friendly activities honouring the Year of the Dragon for Family Day. Visitors are invited to come see a handmade dragon head at the Chinatown Storytelling Centre, take some festive photos, and learn about Chinatown’s vibrant heritage! 

Admission will be 50% off the whole weekend and will be free for those 17 and under. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. On Monday, February 19th, visitors will be able to come and colour their own wooden dragon magnet. Kids will be able to bring a one-of-a-kind dragon home to attract good luck for the year ahead! There will be one kit per person, while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.
