Some kids learn differently: at FAx, we understand the brilliance and the challenges of neurodivergent thinking. Our instructors are passionate about teaching, and will work with your child to build the skills they need to succeed in the way that they learn best.
If your child needs a little extra support to keep their literacy development on track or to continue honing their skills during the summer, check out our Summer Camps & Literacy Programs:
- Summer Boost Camp is a two-week program offering academic skill-building activities in a friendly, small-group setting. Each day, students work on language skills with focused literacy instruction. They can receive one-on-one Orton-Gillingham tutoring or join small-group writing sessions, both of which use proven, structured literacy development methods. Small-group cohorts encourage curiosity, teamwork, and confidence. Summer Boost Camps are for students entering Grades 2–8.
- STEMphilic Camp is for students who enjoy exploring and creating through hands-on STEM projects. Small groups ensure students get personal attention and stay engaged throughout activities. STEMphilic Camps are for students entering Grades 2–8.
- The Writing Lab offers two weeks of daily small-group sessions to strengthen core writing skills. Students receive targeted support in idea generation, structure, clarity, and voice through engaging workshops designed to build confidence and improve written communication.
- Executive Function Bootcamp offers a parallel, two-week small-group experience in which learners develop essential executive function strategies. Our personalized coaching sets this program apart, helping students build practical skills in organization, time management, task initiation, and academic planning. These foundational strategies support immediate school success and lifelong learning habits.
