Event Details

Looking for an afternoon of festive family fun? The CP Holiday Train event is an annual favourite here in Port Moody.

Help us help others by bringing a cash or healthy food donation for SHARE Family and Community Services.

When: Tuesday, December 17, 2019
Where: Behind the Recreation Complex (300 Ioco Road)
Time: Watch the train’s big arrival at 5:20pm and then get ready to sing along with the Sam Roberts Band, Kelly Prescott and Tracey Brown at 5:45pm. Decked out in thousands of lights, this train travels across Canada during the holiday season to raise food and cash donations for local food banks. Your generous donation will stay right here in the Tri-Cities with SHARE Family and Community Services.

Parking: The Civic Centre parking lot will be very busy the afternoon of December 17. If you’re coming to the event, think about walking, biking or taking the bus. There is also overflow parking at Inlet Field on Murray Street.

Festive events

Holiday Train Bonfire

  5-7pm
Behind the Recreation Complex by the tennis courts – Cozy up next to the roaring bonfire and grab a cup of hot chocolate, a bowl of chili, or a hotdog. Be sure to stop by the SHARE food truck which will be onsite accepting cash or healthy food donations.

Holiday Train Face Painting

6:15-8pmGalleria Activities – live music, kids craft tables, selfie station, cookie decorating, face painting, popcorn

Wellness Room Activities – Lots of games and activities going on in the gym.  Make a festive button, and look for the SHARE Bear and Frosty for a fun photo op!
