There are 2 ways to participate:

1) Zoom – register on Eventbrite. Tickets are $8 plus taxes and fees.

2) TELUS Optik TV® available on channel 611 to subscribers with a 4K PVR box. No registration required.

Join the team from the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre for an online event celebrating the beauty of the night sky. We will be talking about the annual Perseid Meteor Showers, will show you how to identify objects in the night sky, and we’ll play a round of trivia on the Kahoot app for prizes! We’ll also be joined by Dr. Brittany Carr, an eye scientist from The University of British Columbia. Dr. Carr will help us understand how the eye works, and adapts to dark sky conditions, so we can better see the Perseids. (Please note: the actual meteor shower will not be broadcast on this live stream)
